INJURIES

Harry Lloyd - Father, of at least one of us...

Not good news, Harry has had an Angina attack and spent a couple of days in the Victoria Infirmary, probably chatting up the nurses.  He is fine and has already appeared at a couple of our matches looking bright and cheerful and hopeful of playing sooner rather than later!

Alan Redhead - Goalkeeper, Father, Bowler, BBQ Chef

Ah, now where to start with the straightest bowler in the club.  Some of you won't remember Alan bowl, it has been a while, but two swollen, painful and badly inflamed knees are keeping Alan off the cricket field and indeed preventing him using the new golf clubs he bought himself which remain clad in the polythene they came in!

His local, The Royal Alexandria Hospital, has seen Alan propping up the bar while people prod his knee, rub his knee and even stick pins in his knee, none of which has helped in any shape or form except to keep Alan amused because all the nurses have been "top heavy!"  Thus ensuring Alan's perfect attendance.
